About Us
Sunny D Farms began in 2007. City of Refuge purchased the property in April of 2023. As a non-profit organization, we host a variety of events. However, we are excited to continue the weddings on our beautiful farm. We currently have two wedding sites: the arbor and the pecan orchard. We’ve recently added The Rutherford Chapel that can be added to your wedding package. Our event barn easily seats 150 guests, and then the field beside it provides a gorgeous open area for additional outdoor seating.
We are less than one hour from Peachtree City, Newnan, Fayetteville, and McDonough.
Our Services
With two ceremony locations, endless photo opportunities, a bridal suite, a groom’s quarters, rocking chairs everywhere, a large outdoor fireplace, and a reception barn to seat 150, there’s plenty of room to party or relax on our 30-acre farm.
Weddings: Our peak season for weddings is March-May and September-November. If you are interested in a wedding date outside of those timeframes, we have a reserved amount of dates in other months. All of our packages include a month-out and day-of coordinator with an assistant. We offer golf cart shuttle for photos around the farm and for anyone who may need assistance from our parking area. Tables, chairs, and linens are provided, and we do a full setup and breakdown for you.
Events: During peak wedding season, we offer Sunday afternoon/evening and week days/evenings rentals of our farm. When it is not peak wedding season, Fridays and Saturdays are available as well for birthdays, bridal showers, baby showers, retirement parties, Christmas parties, engagement parties, etc. We provide tables, chairs, and linens, and we do a full setup and breakdown for you.
Photography: Photographers are allowed to reserve time slots at various locations on our farm for photos.
